Establishing Musical Role Models

Posted on

Select Millennium Band classes are currently participating in a pilot program on Challenge-Based Learning that is being conducted by Apple and Full Sail University.

Challenge-Based Learning is an engaging multidisciplinary approach to teaching and learning that encourages students to leverage the technology they use in their daily lives to solve real-world problems. (For more on Challenge Based Learning, visit Apple’s dedicated site.)

Millennium students will be focusing their energies on the following challenge: Use your community to develop meaningful role models.  Students will endeavor to use these resources in the community to improve their musicianship.  The results of our project will be posted here to be used as a resource for establishing musical role models for all that are interested.  Stay tuned!!!
