More Trombone Silliness

Posted on Updated on

David Finlayson is at it again! The New York Philharmonic trombonist who previously posted the “GoPro trombone video” has posted the following video showing the trombone buzz from inside the mouthpiece! The video below is pulled from, as I understand, a research project meant to identify how the lips move during brass performance (hence the white spots on the lips to identify specific data points).  A little freaky..and kind of gross!

Cookie Dough Delivery, Wednesday, March 13, Noon-5PM

Posted on

Cookie dough orders from our Spring Fundraiser will be ready for pick-up on Wednesday, March 13, between noon and 5PM.  Orders will be available for pick-up in the band room.  It is very important that orders go home on Wednesday, as we DO NOT have access to refrigerated storage!  It is also requested that students with more than 2 orders have a parent pick-up their orders, as we do not want students having to carry their school things PLUS boxes of cookie dough on the bus and down the road.  Thank you so much for participating!!!
