Stetson University Band Conductor Receives National Honor

Professor of Music Education and Director of Bands, Dr. Bobby Adams, (and Mr. Langston’s college band director/idol) was recently inducted into the National Band Association’s Hall of Fame of Distinguished Conductors.  Recognized for his contributions to music education in both the public school and university levels, Dr. Adams’ induction ceremony took place on February 2nd, 2013 at Troy State University in Alabama.  The induction places Dr. Adams in the Hall with band legends such as John Phillip Sousa, Henry Fillmore, and Frederick Fennell.
